ABOUT THE DENTIST
Dr. Burcu Nur Doğan completed her dental education in 2006 at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry and then specialized and completed her Ph.D. in the Department of Pedodontics at the same university. During her doctoral studies, she received training and applied treatments in clinical areas such as preventive practices in Dentistry, caries diagnosis methods and risk groups, dental treatment under general anesthesia for children with syndromes, autism spectrum disorders, and systemic diseases, space maintainers, and early (preventive and interceptive) orthodontic applications. She has been involved in and conducted laboratory studies and experiments assessing stem cell research in children and periodontal health in pregnant women. She completed her thesis titled “Clinical and Biochemical Examination of Changes in Periodontal Tissues in Prepubescent and Pubescent Children” and earned her titles as a pediatric dentist and doctor. To date, she continues her clinical practice as a full-time Pediatric Dentist at various hospitals and clinics.
